Prof. Suveera Gill is a Professor of Accounting, Finance, and General Management at the University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, and currently serves as Honorary Director of the Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE). She leads skilling and entrepreneurship initiatives. She is engaged in NITI Aayog and Association of Commonwealth Universities (UK) projects spanning vocational training, women’s digital empowerment, and policy proposals with government and international bodies.
Prof. Gill holds a Ph.D. (Business Management & Commerce) from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Her research spans entrepreneurial, behavioural, and sustainable finance, as well as corporate governance and gender-inclusive development. She has co-authored books, published in leading journals, presented at conferences including EURAM, the Wharton School, and the OECD/IMHE, and served as an invited speaker at the ACU Annual General Meeting (UK) and Nottingham Trent University’s GO India Immersion Programme.
Prof. Gill is certified under the National Mentoring Mission of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. She is a Certified Cyber Crime Intervention Officer and Cyber Psychology First Responder (ISAC), and founded the PU Women’s Cybersafe Club. She has also completed the Leadership for Development Programme with the Chandler Institute of Governance, MGSIPA, and the Stanford Leadership Academy.
