Neeraj Kumar Mehra is Olympism Researcher and Sports for Development and Peace Practitioner who is working as Faculty member with Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Delhi in India. His area of interest includes Olympism, Olympic and Paralympic Movement, Olympic and Paralympic Education, Olympic and Paralympic Values, Quality Physical Education Policy, Inclusive Physical Education, Mobilisation of UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 through Sports, Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage through Sports, Global Active Cities and closely associated with various national and international stakeholders of related areas.

He has contributed to various government schemes like Elite Athletes Identification Committee, Target Olympic Podium (TOP), National Sports Development Fund (NSDF), Corporate Social Responsibility in Sports, Matters related to National Youth Advisory Council, International Cooperation Cell (IC), Human Resource Development in Sports (HRDS), National Sports University (NSU), National Centre for Sports Science and Research (NCSS&R), National Centre for Sports Coaching (NCSC), Matters related to Cabinet Communications, Right to Information regarding NSU, NCSS&R, NCSC, Khelo India School/Youth Games, Cash Awards to Medal Winners of Asian Games, Out of Pocket Allowance to Athletes (OPA), DBT, PFMS etc. Mr. Neeraj Kumar Mehra has also worked with Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Government of India in her personal establishment as Assistant Private Secretary and handled various bureaucratic and political matters. He has worked as Lecturer with the State Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi and conducted workshops on Health and Physical Education and related areas where he was involved with research, publications and training of Elementary Teachers Trainees and other general teachers.
