Supreet Dhiman

Founder, Shaping Destiny – Therapy | Training | Transformation
NHS-Trained Wellbeing Practitioner | BABCP Registered | Psychotherapist

Supreet Dhiman believes lasting change in a person, a team, or an institution happens through evidence, not instinct. Over two decades, she has applied this principle across research, workshops, therapy rooms, and boardrooms, working at the intersection of psychology, workplaces, governance, and social impact in India and the UK.

She is the Founder of Shaping Destiny, bringing international scientific rigour in evidence-based psychological and behavioural science to transform how India lives, loves, and leads.

Clinical Practice

NHS-trained in psychological wellbeing and evidence-based CBT, registered with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, Supreet practised within the UK’s National Health Service, thus grounding her work in structured, outcome-driven, yet deeply compassionate care.

Research & Policy

She led a landmark study on incest abuse; i.e. sexual abuse within families, across 29 States and Union Territories, shaping policy dialogue with national commissions for women and child rights, advocacy and training on child protection with state governments. She has reported with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) on strengthening India’s National AIDS Control Program, and presented her work at the University of Oxford, TISS, and Christ University.

Social Impact

Founder of CATS, India’s first community-led adventure sports group; driving environmental awareness through 115+ expeditions over 19 years. Through the Can & Will Foundation, she has guided 178 underprivileged students into professional careers over 15 years, and led a voluntary blood donation initiative supporting 16,000+ patients to date.

Governance & Institutional Leadership

Supreet’s work in ethics and equality spans institutions and borders. She has served on the Fortis Ethics Committee, a Joint Internal Complaints Committee across six Government departments, and led two research projects with the Race Equality Council, UK. She has recently joined the Internal Complaints Committee at IISER Mohali.

Beyond the Practice

Supreet built and led an award-winning venture – Stone Art, giving her a rare, hands-on understanding of product, services, teams, growth, and institution-building. She has spoken at TEDx and Josh Talks, is the author of ‘Mother of All Tales’, and is a Paul Harris Fellow in recognition of her humanitarian service.

Across every strand of her work, Supreet holds to one conviction: that people and institutions change when science meets sincerity
