Ms. Sunita Malhotra is a highly respected Clinical Nutritionist and Registered Dietician, bringing over three decades of excellence in dietetics, clinical nutrition, teaching, research, and administration. She served as the Chief Dietician and Head of the Department of Dietetics at PGIMER, Chandigarh, one of India’s premier healthcare institutions.
Ms. Malhotra holds a Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition, a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition, is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), and is FODMAP trained by Monash University, Australia. Her leadership roles include serving as the Convener of the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA), Chandigarh chapter, and as a former National Executive Committee (NEC) Member of the Nutrition Society of India (NSI) Hyderabad.
An accomplished author, she has penned the book “Dietetics in Practice – A Handbook” and contributed to multiple textbooks and journals focused on nutrition, dietetics, and food safety. Ms. Malhotra has been honoured with prestigious awards including the ‘A.N. Radha Award’ by the Indian Dietetic Association and the ‘Young Investigators Award’ at the 16th International World Congress of Clinical Nutrition (WCCN).
Currently, she continues her commitment to advancing nutrition care as a practicing Diet Consultant and Clinical Nutritionist at Pro Health Diet Clinic, Chandigarh. Her extensive clinical expertise and academic leadership bring valuable strength to the mission of promoting science-backed, consumer-centric nutrition solutions.
