Mr Manish Gupta is the Former Chairman of CII Chandigarh UT (Confederation of Indian Industry).

He has been former Board of Directors of CITCO, Chandigarh and former member BoG, PEC Chandigarh.

He is an active executive member of Aeronautical Society of India and been former Honorary Treasurer for Chandigarh Branch. He is also member and certified Chartered Engineer from Institution of Engineers. He is also former Member of Administrator Advisory Council, Chandigarh UT.

He has also been recipient of State Award cum Commendation Certificate from Chandigarh Administration by Governor Punjab & Administrator Chandigarh UT on 15th August 2023 for Industry-Academia Linkages.

He is presently Vice President of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Chandigarh.

And he is also member of Hub Governing Board of IIT Ropar, Technology & Innovation Foundation.

An Engineering graduate from PEC, Chandigarh, he started his own unit in year 2000 and pursued his passion of doing R&D and manufacturing for Defense Forces (Indian Air Force and DRDO Labs) and worked for indigenization for Airborne and Ground Support Equipment for many Aircraft platforms including MI-17 Helicopters, AN-32, Chinook and Rafale as well.
