Dr. Sandeep S. Chhatwal has spent more than 25 years walking alongside his patients through their health journeys, combining medical expertise with compassion and honesty. As Senior Consultant and Managing Director at Omni Clinics and Diagnostics, Chandigarh, he has built a reputation for treating not just diseases but people—caring deeply for their fears, concerns, and hopes. His clinical interests span diabetes, hypertension, asthma, allergies, preventive health, and geriatric medicine, allowing him to offer well-rounded care for families across generations.
After completing his MD in Medicine, Dr. Chhatwal began his career in the government sector, where he served as Physician to the Chief Minister of Punjab. The experience taught him the value of diligence and responsibility at the highest levels of care. Over the years, he has continued to grow as a physician, contributing to clinical trials, participating in study groups, and speaking at conferences. His passion for medical education also led him to author a book designed to guide aspiring doctors preparing for MD entrance examinations.
At the heart of his practice lies a simple philosophy: “Honesty with patients is an act of respect.” He believes that perfection may be out of reach, but diligence, humility, and compassion should never be. For him, medicine is as much about listening and reassuring as it is about prescribing and treating. Beyond the clinic, Dr. Chhatwal is deeply invested in giving back to society. As Managing Trustee of the Veeranwali Foundation, he has led Project Nanhi Jaan for the past 15 years, an initiative dedicated to the healthcare and education of underprivileged children. The project now reaches nearly 3,500 children every month, supporting them with medicines, surgeries, equipment, and critical care. Along the way, it has been recognized with grants and support from the Governor of Punjab, Goldman Sachs Foundation, and Ernst & Young.
