Col. Guljit Singh Chadha (Retd) is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of distinguished service in the Indian Army in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME), complemented by more than a decade of senior administrative experience in higher education and social welfare institutions.
He has held pivotal leadership roles, including Registrar of Panjab University and Bennett University (Times Group), where he steered accreditation processes, governance reforms, and digital transformation initiatives. His contributions as Director at Banyan Tree School, Chandigarh, and Director at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, focused on institutional growth, student welfare, and infrastructure enhancement.
A significant chapter of his post-Army career was his tenure as Director of the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre, Mohali, where he worked closely with injured soldiers, strengthening rehabilitation programs, accessibility initiatives, and quality-of-life support systems for persons with spinal cord injuries.
Until June 2025, he also served as Founder & Director of K. Setu IAS Academy (franchise of Chanakya IAS Academy) in Chandigarh, where he mentored civil services aspirants through innovative teaching methodologies and strategic guidance.


Col. Chadha is the recipient of several prestigious honors, including the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card twice, the Army Commander’s Commendation Card the third time, and the Registrar of the Year 2022 Award by the Universal Mentors Association. His career reflects a consistent commitment to strategic leadership, institutional excellence, and social responsibility.
In his role as Additional Director at Chandigarh Citizens Foundation, he brings together his expertise in governance, community development, and accessibility advocacy to strengthen the Foundation’s mission of building a more inclusive and citizen-driven Chandigarh.
