Ar. Madhu Garg, a Silver Medalist, graduated from the Chandigarh College of Architecture, Punjab University, in 1981. After a brief stint with the HPSEB and a teaching position at her alma mater, she founded Creative Consortium in 1990, a modest two employee firm. Driven by a strong commitment to functional and aesthetically pleasing design, Creative Consortium has flourished over the past four decades. Today, it is a renowned firm recognized for its pan-India projects, spanning diverse typologies like residential, institutional, commercial, and healthcare.
She is on the panel of Accredited Professionals of Indian Green Building Council. She is also the life member of Indian Institute of Valuers and member of (IBBI) for land and building valuations and Indian Council of Arbitrators. Ar. Garg leads a team of over 50 professionals, delivering innovative and timeless architectural solutions. She emphasizes core values like functionality, sustainability, and adaptability, integrating high-tech materials with a charming aesthetic. A pioneer in affordable housing, she strives to create beautiful living environments accessible to all segments of society. Her designs prioritize context, considering factors such as sun, space, air, water, and greenery.

Madhu Garg has received numerous prestigious accolades, includes the Honorary Doctorate Award in Architecture-2026, Excellence in Architectural Design Award 2026, Lifetime Achievement award in Architecture at global Architect & builder award 2025, Women of Eminence Award by IIA (Punjab Chapter) in 2024, the Wade Asia National Competition Award 2024 in the Public Building Category, the Excellence in Designing Creative Educational Spaces-Architecture’s WOW Award 2023, the Creative Excellence – First Friday Forum Award 2023, and the PHD Chamber Architecture Excellence Recognitions for Residential Design -Group Housing in 2023. Her firm has consistently demonstrated excellence in concrete construction, receiving the Outstanding Concrete Structure Award multiple times between 2015 and 2023. Notably, the Regional Office HPCL, Bathinda, achieved a Platinum rating in the IGBC Green New Building Rating System in 2020. Ar. Garg has authored two books: “TEN Housing Design Stories – Reflection of Our Journey” and “BESPOKE RESIDENCES – DESIGN AND PLANNING APPROACH.” A visionary architect and a pioneer among women in her field, Ar.
