Planned Programmes and activities of Chandigarh Citizens Foundation (CCF)
The Chandigarh Citizens Foundation (CCF) is rolling out a range of initiatives to promote sustainable development through active citizen participation, across Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula.

The Fourth Round of Training of Master Trainers was successfully conducted at CRIID, Sector-19 on 28th February 2026, with the objective of strengthening the capacity of Master Trainers in addressing psychosocial and digital well-being challenges among students.
Two thematic sessions were conducted by the Master Trainers:
Session I:Eating Disorders and Issues Related to Self-Image Presented by Ms. Bharti and Ms. Manpreet Kaur. The session focused on types of eating disorders, early warning signs, factors affecting self-image, the impact of peer pressure and social media, and strategies for early identification, prevention, and school-based intervention. Emphasis was laid on sensitivity, empathy, and the role of teachers and counsellors in creating a supportive school environment.
Session II:Screen Time Regulation and Digital Well-being Presented by Ms. Deepti and Ms. Shilpa. This session highlighted the risks of excessive screen time, its impact on students’ health and learning, and the importance of balanced digital usage. Practical strategies for screen time regulation, structured routines, awareness programmes, and parental engagement were discussed.
Expert Feedback:Dr. Jyoti and Dr. Navneet appreciated the relevance and practical approach of both sessions. They emphasized early prevention, integration of mental health and digital well-being in school programmes, and strengthening collaboration between educators, parents, and health professionals.
The training programme concluded with a shared commitment to promoting holistic student well-being through informed, preventive, and supportive school practices.
