• To promote Chandigarh’s status as a global city for its unique high quality of urban planning, design, architecture and physical infrastructure and the underlying core principles of sustainable living. To propagate these values of Chandigarh, both in India and abroad.
• Documentation and Inventory: To undertake and support comprehensive documentation and inventory of Chandigarh’s tangible and intangible legacy assets, including buildings, urban design elements, landscapes, and cultural practices.
• Public Awareness & Education: To launch and sustain public awareness campaigns and educational programs about the significance of Chandigarh’s legacy and the importance of its preservation.
