Prof. Anil Monga is a distinguished academic and senior Professor of Public Administration at Panjab University, Chandigarh, with an illustrious career spanning over 39 years in teaching, research, and academic leadership.
Since joining Panjab University in 1987, Prof. Monga has made sustained and impactful contributions to the growth and evolution of Public Administration as a field of study and practice. He has held several key positions at Panjab University. Promoted to Professor in 2008, he served as Coordinator,Centre for Police Administration where he strengthened teaching, research and training in internal security and policing. In 2012, he was nominated to the Senate of Panjab University by the Hon’ble Vice President of India, who is also the Chancellor of the University.
His academic stature and administrative acumen led to his election to the Syndicate in 2015 and appointment to the Board of Finance, the highest financial decision-making body of the University.

In his current role as NEP Coordinator, Prof. Monga has played a pivotal role in the implementation of the National Education Policy(NEP) at Panjab University. He has led the design of academic templates across faculties and curriculum redesign and spearheaded extensive faculty development and stakeholder engagement through lectures and workshops.An expert in academic governance, Prof. Monga is a member of the Board of Studies in Public Administration at Panjab University and serves on similar bodies in reputed institutions including Himachal Pradesh University (Shimla), Central University Jammu, Punjabi University (Patiala), and Kurukshetra University, Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar, Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur, and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
