Lohri Celebrations ,a fusion of Tamil traditional folk dance and Punjab’s traditional dance Bhangra

The Chandigarh Citizens Foundation marked a significant milestone by celebrating its first Lohri, bringing together members, partners, and guests in a vibrant and inclusive community gathering.

The celebration featured energetic Punjabi Bhangra, soulful Tamil folk music and Thappattam, and the warmth of the traditional Lohri bonfire, creating a unique confluence of regional cultures. The evening was further enriched by shared fellowship and traditional festive refreshments, reflecting the spirit of togetherness and India’s rich cultural diversity that CCF stands for.
