Saguna has been on the forefront of social service, in the Jain community, embodying its principles of compassion, non-violence, and selflessness. Her commitment to humanitarian efforts extends to various areas, including healthcare, education, environmental conservation, and poverty alleviation. With her unwavering commitment to social service, she aspires to set an inspiring example for others, demonstrating that selflessness and compassion can create a significant impact. She believes in the power of collective action and serves as a guiding light for future generations.

Being born to a father, who was in the Central Government, Saguna started to live and travel in various cities all over India from a very early age. Having been brought up in a very broad minded environment, she, with the blessings of her patents got married to Manish Jain, a corporate lawyer. Her sons Siddhant and Manan are now also lawyers and have joined their father’s law firm, Manish Jain Law Associates.

– From 1992 to date
Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication in Panjab University
– 2013-Setup the first event management company in Chandigarh by the name of ‘Event it Right’ and handled private as well as corporate events.
– 2014 – Fundamentals Consultancy Group came into existence that looked after various media related activities.

It works on three verticals:
• Organising literary events
• Managing publications of our own
• Consultancy for startup magazines and
  newspapers.

-Core member of Chandigarh Literary Society – Actively involved in organising the ‘Literati Literature Festival’ for over 10 years now.
– A writer of repute and columnist, her columns on family affairs and parenting have been highly appreciated and she has advised and counselled many a youngsters on various issues that need mediating.
– Co-Founder of Novel Bunch – A Human Library that has more than 200 members as on date. Major events include:
