A veteran from the Army Educational Corps with an uninterrupted record of producing top level outcomes. During army service, he rose to serve at the Army Headquarters level, where he handled manpower planning, training and educational administration for the AEC. In addition to this, he was also tasked to prepare change-management plans, HR strategies and training policies for his corps.

As Headmaster of Sainik School Ghorakhal, he led the school to become the country’s best feeder to NDA, Khadakvasla and produced the best academic results among all Sainik Schools of the country. SSGK also attained enviable results in Co-Scholastics and Sports at the regional and national level. Under his mentorship, a teacher from this school was awarded the National Teachers Award in 2009.

Thereafter, he was deep-selected to set up a Sainik School at Rewari. Over there, he built up the institutional framework from a scratch, including design inputs for the campus; obtaining land and statutory clearances etc. for the smooth functioning of the school right from the start.
After taking pre-mature retirement, he led The Sagar School, a co-educational, fully residential international school with students from many Indian states and several countries. His assignment was to reform and expand academic, sports, and co-scholastics; strengthen multicultural learning and increase global linkages with active programmes through the British Council, IAYP, and student exchanges with partner schools overseas. Under his leadership, the school earned recognition as one of the top schools of Rajasthan and India.
