Now I run a successful medical practice for pediatric & allergic diseases at Chandigarh. As a passion I Volunteer for Spicmacay & am North Zone Chairperson.
I have volunteered for Spicmacay since my students days. But since year 2000 I am coordinating activities all over north ie J& K, Pb, HP, Haryana and UT Chandigarh.
I am also Convener of advisory board of Spicmacay. I organized meetings with three governors as Chairpersons respectively. Gen Rodrigues at Pb Rajbhavan, Dr Kidwai at Haryana Rajbhavan & Shri Kokje at HP Rajbhavan Shimla.
I also organized a National convention at Jammu university inaugurated by Dr Karan Singh. The North Zone conventions were organized by me and my team at Panjab university and twice at Ludhiana.
In city beautiful we have hosted most art forms & very noted artists like Shri Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma, Hari Prasad Chaurasia, pt Rajan Sajan Mishra, VM Bhatt, Ustad Abdul Rashida khan, Nishat Khan, Shajid Parvez, VIDUSHI Sonal Mansingh, Saroja Vaidyanathan, Uma Sharma, Bombay Jaishri, Maithil Devika etc multiple times to name a few.
Our focus is on youth so we organize WD in 100% Govt schools of UT Chd every year for last seven years.
We have also tried to cover at least five Govt schools in each district of Pb and HP for past three years.
Saratariya, Chau, Kathakali, Kodiyattam, Gotipua etc the lesser popular art forms brought by us.
We also aim to take artists to schools in very remote places–the idea is that each child has a birth right to experience the mystic.
We also do world Virasat, brought TIPA at Panjab university, Chamber music from Germany, Swiss Jazz & Hungarian folk & Norwegian art forms.
I am passionate about promoting classical arts as a volunteer everywhere.
