The Focus Group on Education of the Chandigarh Citizens Foundation presents an innovative workshop for 100 school teachers (Classes 9–11) on the theme “Reel Philosophy: Unlocking Teaching Through Film Screenings.”
This unique workshop aims to empower teachers to harness the power of cinema as a transformative teaching tool. Participants will learn how to critically “read” films, explore their philosophical dimensions, and integrate cinematic narratives into classroom discussions to enhance empathy, ethical reflection, and critical thinking.
Through interactive sessions and guided reflections, educators will design film-based classroom activities aligned with school curricula—bridging entertainment and education in meaningful ways.
