Dr. Jatinder Kaur Arora is Advisor, PI-RAHI (PU, IIT Ropar Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations), Northern Region Science & Technology Cluster which is country\u2019s first regional S&T Cluster set up by the office of Principal Scientific Officer to Govt. of India, engaged in synergising and strengthening science technology and innovation ecosystem across Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and J&K. She is the former Executive Director of Punjab State Council for Science & Technology\u00a0 -cum- Chief Executive Officer of Punjab State Innovation Council and Member Secretary of Punjab Biodiversity Board.<\/p>\n

She has been conferred with \u2018National Award for Women\u2019s Development through Application of Science & Technology\u2019 by President of India. The Govt. of Punjab has awarded her \u2018Punjab Sarkar Parman Patra\u2019 for exemplary service in the field of science & technology. Indian Television Academy has honored her with \u2018Great Women Award\u2019.<\/p>\n

She has spearheaded development of State Action Plan on Climate Change 2.0 of Punjab.\u00a0 Also she has steered technology transfer for cleaner production to more than 1500 MSMEs.\u00a0 In her professional career spanning more than 35 years , she has led large number of initiatives\u00a0 and contributed immensely towards policy planning and infrastructure development in the field of science and technology.<\/p>\n
