Col Daljeet Cheema is a post-graduate in Management and Engineering and has been associated with management education as regular/ part time/guest faculty for MBA programs for Punjab University and many other universities and institutions. He served as the Principal of prestigious Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Dayanand College of Communication and Management and as Director Professional Studies, DAV College, Chandigarh. He was Peer Member of NAAC (UGC) for inspection of P G colleges and worked as Technical Expert for selection of faculty for engineering and management subjects with Haryana government. He has authored study material for Punjab Technical University(PTU) as subject expert.
Col. Cheema sought premature retirement in 1994 to pursue his passion of teaching, writing and motivating. He is a prolific writer and has authored 21 books in subjects of Management and Engineering, Sikh history, self-help, ageing, defence etc. The books authored by him are:


He has contributed more than 630 articles in national English dailies and Tehelka magazine and has done pioneering work in the areas of Knowledge Management and Soft Skills of the youth of the region. Recognising his contribution to society, he was awarded Punjab Ratan in 2008.
He served as a Professor of Practice at Shoolini University, Solan, a Resource Person with National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) LBSNAA, Mussioorie, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Punjab, Institute of Correctional Administration, Chandigarh, Chandigarh Police, and many other institutions. He is on the Advisory Board of Shemrock and Oakfield Group of Schools and a member of Bhavan Vidyalya, Panchkula Kendra. He is invited by national and vernacular T V channels for inputs on defence, education and political issues. He has conducted online and offline mock -interviews for more than 650 UPSC aspirants. He is a well-known motivational speaker and life-skills trainer.
